I can rember very well that it was in May 2004 when my sister (Tselane) decided to buy a new car (Jeep 4-by-4, 2004 Model) and she did not want to sell her car (Dark Green, Mercedes-Benz, Classic, Automatic, C200, 1998 Model).She decided to give it to me so that I can pay the remaining balance on the car, and the idea was very much apealing to me.
To cut a long story short, I decided to accept an offer. The mileage on the car, when I received the car from my sister, was 169,000 km (May 2004). Today, 22 April 2007, the mileage stands at 261,647 km. My colleague drives a White 1996 Mercedes-Benz, and he told me that his mileage stands at little over 600,000 km and the car still runs faithfully.
I also have another colleague who drives a 1984 Mercedes-Benz, and he was telling me that he now needs to think seriously about overhauling his engine because this car is beginning to show some signs of needing attention. Nevertheless, his car is still in good condition. 
My main aim is to keep track of my car. I am planning to keep it for the next 10-20 years, and if possible, my goal is to reach a million km. I hope I will not need to suffer if I a need to replace some parts.
